fabulous....planning our next stay.

The breakfast menu was absolutely superb!!!!! The service was excellent. The outside area is so well maintained and beautiful.

The rooms can be updated a bit. The hot pools become extremely slimy.

Breakfast was great and staff very friendly

This may not be directly linked to the Hotel, but its located on the premises. The service from the waitresses at the pizza restaurant ( can't remember the name) across from the Casino was really Very bad. The food however was good. But due to the Bad service received , we will never eat there again whilst staying at the Caledon Spa Hotel.

We loved the breakfast buffet, and that it is halaal friendly. We appreciate muslims being catered for.

Spectacular Spa Springs

The hot springs are by far the best part of the experience. You really get to enjoy the aspects of nature. The premises are naturally beautiful, rich in history and lots of places to explore. As a hotel guest you get to experience the springs much longer than day visitors. There is a good variety of different pools and spa facilities like steam room and sauna. The massages we booked at the spa were very relaxing. The room suited our needs mostly. Great mini fridge and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was very tasty, lots of breakfast options and great coffee. Dinner at the Black Sheep was delicious and great service from our waitress. She anticipated what we needed without us having to ask.

The general decor of the hotel feels outdated. The WiFi was very slow. The air con in our room was broken and unpleasant because we had a very warm evening. The parking is very far from the hotel.

The hot pools were really nice and well maintained. The premises is also well maintained. The reception staff were truly accomodating to my request.

The check inn process can be improved as most rooms were not available upon check inn. Whilst the rooms were comfortable the hotel is in need of a revamp as the furniture is very outdated and the bathrooms could use a revamp. The restaurants were pretty basic and could offer a bit of a variety.

Was a good break at the spa. But we won’t stay over again — rather visit the lovely pools on a daytrip.

Setting and grounds are beautifully kept. The groundstaff are friendly and knowledgeable. Lovely walks and excellent hot water spring. Breaksfasts at the hotel are sensational.

The rooms are a bit shoddy — ours smellt of cigarette smoke and verything looks a bit tired. The TV is terrible — bad reception and old. There is nowhere decent to eat in the evenings. Just the crummy casino with really bad food at Da Vincis.

The massage at the Spa. The staff there are very friendly and professional BUT I cannot say the same about the staff at the hotel specifically the reception and reservations staff.

Will come back as still good value i am sure the small issues could be sorted out.

We had to leave at 07h00 to Cape Town for a meeting. Ordered breakfast packs at reception the night before but at 06h45 no one new about it. At 06h55 ate something cold and left by 07h00. Food looked fantastic but could not enjoy it. Maybe breakfast could start at 06h30 so people could have time to eat before travelling onto Cape Town for meetings.

The foyer and rooms smelt of cat urine otherwise hotel was great.

Love the bed - so comfortable! Linen was fresh The breakfast was good

The rooms are quite outdated and not that clean especially the carpets. They do not provide gowns any longer We only got 1 room key even though we were 2 people in the room.

Spending the evening in the steaming hot springs was worth the stay

Having access to the hot springs any time of the day is what makes this place worth visiting. The quality of the bed was also very good

There isn't much special about the place other than the hot springs, perhaps if you like to hang around in the casino. Unfortunately, the cat urine smell in the corridor was very bad, I hope a deep clean of the carpets will do the trick

Staff were fantastic.

Hotel is a bit stuck in the past. Hotel was not transparent about the tourism levy not being factored into the price. While the levy is trivial, it is weird to not collect that as part of the total cost at booking.

Bad, disgusting and complete rip off

Hot Water & nothing else

I visited this hotel with my kids 10 years ago & vowed never to return cause of bad service. My wife & I decided to give it another try cause of your hot pools. Bad Service, staff unfriendly & untrained, no gowns or towels for pool & had to pay R200 for small hard towel. No effort made to accommodate guests & felt treated like criminals, they must have problem with stolen goods by some guests but now all guests treated badly. Cost of stay not cheap, even Spa was a disaster where.we spent R2000. This place not doing our desperately needed tourism a boost. They must be downgraded to one star. Thanks
