What was the highlight of The Caledon Hotel and Spa
the nature is gorgeous, but service can be improved
the breakfast choices are good. the pools are wonderful
my room was not ready on arrival at 2pm and no apology was offered. The sauna was not on at 6pm even though the time stipulated is until 11pm. Also the steam room was not hot and the floor was messy. In the room, the toilet flush did not work well... In terms of breakfast, the coffee could be better.

Spectacular Spa Springs
The hot springs are by far the best part of the experience. You really get to enjoy the aspects of nature. The premises are naturally beautiful, rich in history and lots of places to explore. As a hotel guest you get to experience the springs much longer than day visitors. There is a good variety of different pools and spa facilities like steam room and sauna. The massages we booked at the spa were very relaxing. The room suited our needs mostly. Great mini fridge and very comfortable bed. The breakfast was very tasty, lots of breakfast options and great coffee. Dinner at the Black Sheep was delicious and great service from our waitress. She anticipated what we needed without us having to ask.
The general decor of the hotel feels outdated. The WiFi was very slow. The air con in our room was broken and unpleasant because we had a very warm evening. The parking is very far from the hotel.

Gorgeous views from our room, pool area and nature walking trail. Mineral water was amazing for our skin. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is delicious and has so many options to choose from. Non-halaal served separately. Beds are comfy.
Da Vinci is a halaal friendly restaurant, no halaal food options for lunch and supper, you have to drive outside the resort. No microwave in the room to heat food. Pools are far from hotel so the walk with wet clothing isn't great, changing rooms & bathrooms next to the gym are full and floors always wet - No cleaning staff on duty.
